B&S Tech on Target GmbH takes the protection of your personal data seriously. We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and all other applicable data protection legislation. This policy explains what data we process when you visit this website, on what legal basis, and what rights you have.

2 · Server log files & hosting

When you access this website, the provider of the website's hosting infrastructure automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

browser type and version,
operating system used,
referrer URL (the previously visited page),
host name / IP address of the accessing device,
date and time of the server request.

This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to draw conclusions about you personally. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; the controller has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of its website. Log data is stored only for as long as necessary for these purposes and is then deleted or anonymised.

This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster). Where personal data is processed on our behalf, this is done on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

3 · Cookies & tracking

This website is designed to be data-minimal. It does not set tracking or marketing cookies and does not use third-party web-analytics services that profile visitors. Any cookies that may be required are strictly necessary for the technical operation of the site and are stored on the basis of § 25 (2) TTDSG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Should optional cookies or analytics be introduced in the future, they will only be activated with your prior consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

4 · Contacting us & the contact form

If you contact us by email or via our contact form, the data you provide — in particular your name, first name, company / institution, email address and the content of your message — will be processed by us for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). We retain this data until your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention periods (e.g. under commercial or tax law) require longer storage.

5 · Recipients & transfers to third countries

Your personal data is only passed on to third parties where this is legally permitted, necessary for the purposes described above, or where you have consented. Processors acting on our behalf (e.g. hosting, IT services) are bound by data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR. A transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area only takes place where the requirements of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are met (e.g. an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

This site uses TLS/SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. An encrypted connection is indicated by https:// in your browser's address bar. We further apply appropriate technical and organisational measures pursuant to Art. 32 GDPR to protect your data against accidental or unlawful loss, alteration or unauthorised access.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

Export Control & Compliance Statement

B&S Tech on Target GmbH conducts all of its business activities in strict compliance with applicable national, European and international law governing the development, manufacture and transfer of controlled goods and technology.

In particular, we observe the requirements of the German War Weapons Control Act (Kriegswaffenkontrollgesetz), the German Foreign Trade and Payments Act and Ordinance (Außenwirtschaftsgesetz / Außenwirtschaftsverordnung) and Regulation (EU) 2021/821 governing dual-use items.

All relevant activities — including the transfer of goods, software and technology — are carried out exclusively within the framework of the applicable licensing requirements and in close coordination with the competent authorities. We maintain internal compliance procedures designed to ensure that legal obligations are met at every stage of our operations.
