When you access this website, the provider of the website's hosting infrastructure automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to draw conclusions about you personally. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; the controller has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of its website. Log data is stored only for as long as necessary for these purposes and is then deleted or anonymised.

If you contact us by email or via our contact form, the data you provide — in particular your name, first name, company / institution, email address and the content of your message — will be processed by us for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
